Eddie Redmayne, Alex Sharp, Sacha Baron Cohen | In Chicago in 1968, the Democratic Party demonstration met with protests by activists such as the average Democratic student of society led by Tom Hayden and Yippies fighters led by Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin, which sparked fierce clashes with local authorities. As a result, seven of the defendants‘ leaders are accused of conspiring with Nixon, as well as Bobby Seale of the Black Panthers who was not involved in the incident. The following is an unfair trial conducted by Judge Hoffman (No Relationships) and prosecuted by a reluctant but responsible Richard Schultz. While their pro bono lawyers face similar situations, Hayden and his teammates are frustrated by Yippie’s vicious attacks that undermine their defense by ignoring the system even when Seale is denied the opportunity to defend himself.
